DFS Shave Soap is a collaboration with the Shaving Forum "Damn Fine Shave" (DamnFineShave.com).
At the owner Andrew's request, who wanted a classic Italian Colonia-type scent, ETHOS started developing the aroma blend from scratch, ending up using Essential Oils of Bergamot, Sicilian Lemon, Mandarin, Sweet Orange, Verbena, Neroli, Lavender, Rosemary, Myrtle, Rose CO2, Patchouli, Vetiver, East Indian Sandalwood and Ambrette Seed to create the scent. The shave soap lather has a nice light feeling on the face that provides great cushion, slickness, and post-shave feel without leaving the face feeling oily. Like most ETHOS Grooming Essential products, the soap contains a proprietary EOS Complex, which means Earth • Ocean • Science. This unique Mélange of 36 luxurious, exotic, and beneficial skincare ingredients along with ingredients in the shave soap base such as Papaya Powder Fruit Extract, Sheeps Milk, Exotic Butters, and Oils will enhance the overall condition and feel of the skin with continuous use.

Usage: Ethos Shave Soaps are easy to lather, and just a small amount is needed to bring you a rich yogurt-like lather. Often described as feeling light on the face, the lather tends to be a little thirsty so add water a little at a time until the desired lather is achieved. ETHOS shave soaps work well using all types of shaving brushes. We recommend scoping out some shave soap from the jar and bowl lathering as this soap is more on the soft side. Apply to a wet face, swirl the brush for about 30 seconds and then begin to paint the lather on painting WTG, XTG, and ATG until you get a nice non-translucent coating of rich, creamy lather for optimum shave results.
